Important:
Individual protection settings are ignored if you have your entire website password protected.


1) Standard Content Page or Text Blocks


Instructions for protecting one of your standard content pages or text blocks.  These refer to the content entries you see listed in the first table within the 'PAGES' area of your VedaCMS. 


To password protect a content page:



  1. Log into VedaCMS and click on "Pages".




  2. Click the grey open lock icon in the options block next to whatever page
        you want to protect.

     


  3. The open lock icon will turn into a closed lock icon, this means protections


     is active.  To turn off protection, simply click the lock icon again.


 


2) Individual Photo Albums


Photos are uploaded to albums in VedaCMS. You can create as many albums as you want and any of these can be set as members only.


To password protect an album:



  1. Log into VedaCMS and click on "Photos".




  2. Click the grey open lock icon next to the album you want to protect.  It will turn into a closed icon, which means protection is active.




  3. To turn off protection, simply click the lock icon again.


3) Videos


Videos uploaded or embedded into your video gallery can be set as members only.


To password protect a video:


1. Log into VedaCMS and click on "Video".



 


2. Click the grey open lock icon next to the video you want to protect. It will
     
turn into a closed lock icon, which means protection is active.



  


3. To turn off protection, simply click the lock icon again.


 


4) Calendar Entries


Individual entries you make to your VedaCMS calendar can be set as members only.


To password protect a calendar entry:


1. Log into VedaCMS and click on "Calendar".



 


2. If adding a new entry, click the '+' symbol on day block for this entry. If
    
editing an existing entry, click the edit icon.


3. Check the box which reads "Visible only to Members".



 


4. Save Changes by clicking "Add Calendar Entry" or "Save".


 


5) Blog Posts


Individuals posts to your VedaCMS blog can be set as members only.


To password protect a blog post:


1. Log into VedaCMS and click on "Blog".



 


2. Click the grey open lock icon next to the post you want to protect. It will
    
turn into a closed lock icon, which means protection is active.



 


3. To turn off protection, simply click the lock icon again.
